Camp Setenghi is a unique rock camp built on the slopes of the Ugab Terrace. Affording panoramic views of the nearby Pareisis mountains.

Setenghi is situated in the Ugab Valley of the Kunene region and only one hour drive to the famous Etosha National Park, the wild life gem of Southern Africa and within easy day trip outings to all the famous tourist attractions and historic landmarks i.e. Vingerklip (Fingerrock), Petrified Forest and the Waterberg. It is also well situated to visit other site-seeing place in the North Western Kunene Region like the Epupa Falls and the Himba people with their rich Himba Culture. Camp Setenghi is also close to the main routes to the Angolan border.

Setenghi is built with natural rock stone from the area, blending in harmony with its backdrop of splendid rock formations.

Accommodation include 5 self catering twin bed chalets. Each with its own bathroom on suite. Comfortably furnished and spacious. Setenghi’s campsites are rather special. Each site has its own barbeque area, table and chairs. Facilities include ladies and gents ablution with hot and cold water, washing facilities and a large open barbeque area. Wood can be purchased at reception.

Activities include a large, sparkling swimming pool, nature walks, bird watching or just relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.

You can reach Camp Setengi by taking the C38 from Otjiwarongo towards Outjo, travel north for 60km, 4km from Outjo turn off on the Kalkfeld Road (route 63). We are signposted from the C38. There is also a landing strip available.
