|STANDARD ITINERARY BOTSWANA / ZIMBABWE|
*Upon your arrival at Windhoek International Airport you are met by a guide. We proceed, crossing the Botswana border, to Ghanzi for our first overnight. Accommodation in the Kalahari Arms Hotel. Full board.
Day 2 and 3:
Today we are heading towards the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, which is rated as one of Africa's greatest wildlife sanctuaries. The next two days are spent on extensive game viewing drives. Two overnights camping in Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Full board.
We travel up to Savuti along the Khwai River via North Gate and the Machaba Plains. Savuti is excellent for lion and other predator viewing. One nights camping at Savuti. Full board.
Day 5 and 6:
From Savuti we move up to the northern Chobe and camp for two nights at Ihaha. This is the heart of elephant country and here we have the opportunity to spend hours watching herds of elephants in and around the waters of the Chobe. The northern Chobe has beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets, with a large variety of bird and animal life.
After breakfast we leave the Chobe National Park to cross the border to Zimbabwe. Your guide will take you on a tour of the Vic Falls. Optional excursions in and around Vic Falls are on offer. We overnight at A'zambesi River Lodge. Full board.
Depart Vic Falls and head for Nata Sanctuary. Overnight in bungalows at Nata Lodge. Full board.
Today our way leads to Maun for a camping overnight at Sitatunge Lodge. Full board.
Day 10 and 11:
On our return journey to Windhoek we overnight on a farm nearby Gobabis. Arrival in Windhoek in the early morning of the 11th days.
We explore Deception Valley, an ancient riverbed meandering between wooded dunes across the Central Kalahari. We may encounter lion, leopard and various other species in this intriguing environment. Two camping overnights. Full board.
For three days we experience the beauty and diversity of the Makgadikgadi Game Reserve. Two camping overnights in the Khumaga region. The best time of the year to visit this area is between April and December.
Zimbabwe's largest and most popular national park is the Hwange National Park. With a land area of more than 14 000 square kilometres, the park boasts over 400 species of bird and over a hundred species of animal. We spend two overnights camping out in Hwange.
We depart from Maun in a small aircraft to spend three unforgettable days in a luxury camp in the Okavango Delta. Our time is spent by exploring Okavango's most scenic and private areas on game drives, walks, mokoro or boat trips. Experience Africa first hand. On our return flight, you can once again enjoy the wonders of the Okavango Delta from a bird's eye view.
