Die Dam - Trans Kalahari Resort Gobabis |
Establishment is situated at the Tilda Viljoen Dam at Gobabis. Die Dam is less than 1 km out of town. When you enter Gobabis from Windhoek side you turn right at the first street. Drive up to the stop sign. In front of you are host signboard showing you to turn right. Then there is a sign reading: DIE DAM - turn right again. Before you enter Namwater's gate turn left. Establishment is the thatched roof chalets on the dam wall.

Die Dam offers six self-catering chalets. Each of them have a double bed and on the top deck two single beds. They are fully equipped with linen, towels, cups and saucers, plates, knifes, forks, a kettle, two plate stove and a small fridge. Establishment also has an a-la-carte restaurant on the premises (an old jail - hosts renovated it for a restaurant).
