Kang village is 380 km from Gaborone, Botswana. It is a convenient resort for residents of Kang, the Trans Kalahari / Kgalagadi road travellers and tourists between South East Botswana, South Africa through Ghanzi on to Namibia.
The road to Kang is an all weather bitumen standard and is accessible to all vehicles. The facilities hosts provide include 3 double rooms and 7 twin rooms in chalets around the lodge, therefore 20 beds.
All the lodge rooms are fully air-conditioned with Digital Satellite Television (DSTV), a reading table and a small closet. Menu is a la carte and buffet. Buffet option is available depending on occupancy.
Hosts also have a conference facility fully air-conditioned to sit 80 people, a restaurant to sit 100 people (also fully air-conditioned) and an outdoor sitting facility. There is also a curio shop which specializes in Basarwa and Bakgalagadi indigenous art and crafts. Internet access is available on request and same day laundry facilities.
There is an airstrip on the eastern part of Kang village along the Trans Kalahari / Kgalagadi Highway.
