Himba excursions to either Opuwo or to the Himbas at Epupa can be organised. Volker your guide can speak their language fluently and this will definitely be a memorable experience. One-day Himba excursions to Opuwo can either be done from Gelbingen, or the clients can be collected if staying at another Lodge. The rates for the one-day Himba excursions include Volker the guide, a light lunch or lunch pack, soft drinks and Himba packs. The Epupa excursion will provide two nights accommodation at Gelbingen and two nights accommodation at Epupa. Here various Himba villages will be visited and the rates for these excursions include all accommodation expenses, all meals, soft drinks, the guide and Himba packs.
It is the ideal stop over for small groups or self drive clients travelling to Opuwo or the Epupa Falls.
Gelbingen is the ideal stopover for guests travelling to or from Opuwo and Epupa. They offer game drives; Sundowner drives and guided walks as activities.
