Mokuti lodge is located at the eastern gate to the Etosha National Park and
boasts unique African charm combined with international standards of luxury.
Tours to Etosha park are conducted every morning and afternoon. Each of the thatched
chalets is air-conditioned and has en-suite bathroom, TV, telephone, fridge and
hairdryer.
There are walking and mountain-biking trails available. Reptile Park
and Bird Hide are located on the property.
Guests can relax in the bar, at the swimming pools, enjoy a game of
open-air
chess, snooker in the game room, play tennis on the lodge's floodlit tennis
courts. The Curio shop offers a variety of Africa souvenirs, gifts and curious.
Meals are served in the open-air restaurant with a choice of a-la-carte or
buffet in the boma.
Mokuti lodge's conference centre that can accommodate up to 140 delegates is available for groups wishing to enjoy business meeting in the natural atmosphere.
The lodge is easily accessible by the road and included in the regular
schedule of Air Namibia.
Directions:
From Windhoek: take main road B1, and turn into C38 approximately 75 kilometres after town Tsumeb. The turn-off is signposted (road to the Etosha National park, Namutoni camp). The entrance to the lodge is on the left hand side just before the park's gate.

park, horse riding.
History:
Mokuti lodge was opened in
October 1989. Later it was partly burned on 1
April 1997 and rebuild the by the end of 1997. All renovations were completed on
8 December 1997. Permanent customs and immigration facilities were
provided together with a reception lounge for passengers which makes Mokuti
airfield one of the best equipped private airports in the country. The name
means "a place in the bush". American actor Danny Glover ("Lethal
Weapon") and Miss Universe 1992 Michelle McLean stayed at Mokuti lodge.

Mokuti's environment is
wheelchair-friendly, all buildings are on ground floor, no stairs at all. There
are 4 disability rooms, the door is wide enough for a wheelchair and the
toilet and bath/shower has hand-railings inside.
