Alter Action Namibia: Sandboarding at the coast
Where
	Excursions to the dunes around Swakopmund. It is an old tradition at the coast between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay and a very special way to explore coastal sand dunes.

How it is done

Sandboarders are taken to the highest dune around and provided with sandboards and safety equipment: gloves, elbow pads and helmets. There is a short safety instruction given before the trip. Disclaimer must be signed by every participant. Participants must wear closed shoes. Participants must advise in advance about their shoes size if they like to do stand-up sandboarding trip.
Lie-down boarding as well as stand-up boarding is offered. Lie-down boarding requires no experience at all. If all you want is a good fast fun then this is the option to take.
A light lunch and refreshments are available after a good morning of fun.

When
	Trips commence in the morning at 9.00 - 9.30 and finish by the lunch time around 1 - 1.30 o'clock in the afternoon.

2008 price per person: 280 N$ per person (lie-down), 440 N$ (stand-up). No age restrictions.
