Sefofane Namibia Fly-in Circuit

These flights are sold as one of three packages: Full Circuit: Starting in WDH and going to Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland, Etosha and ending in WDH.
Southern Circuit: Starting in WDH and going to Sossusvlei area. Ending in Swakopmund. On the Southern Circuit, guests get into Swakopmund and then can continue their trip as self drives or catch the Desert Express.
Northern Circuit: Starting in Swakopmund via Damaraland Camp and Ongava ending in WDH. The Northern Circuit caters for guests who would like to drive the first part of their vacation and then fly the remainder of their trip from Swakopmund. For guests wishing to use other camps in any of the areas, there are nominal add-on fees for flight connections to all the camps in the different areas.

The flight times have been chosen for the following reasons:

To accommodate the majority of International flights into WDH. The flight from WDH to Sossusvlei connects with most inbound international flights, thus avoiding a lay over in Windhoek. The flight from Ongava arrives in WDH in time for guests to connect with most out-bound International flights.
In the Sossusvlei area, guests leave after morning activities such as ballooning. Further, the scenic flight to Swakopmund is late enough to avoid the early morning coastal fog.
Guests will depart from and arrive at the camps so as not to miss out on any activities.

Should guests wish to fly at any other times on any of the legs, they may book private charters for those flights but will not get a discount on the Circuit rate.

The benefits of the Circuit are:

Set departure and arrival times. These times can be placed in guests itineraries, huge cost savings. Costs compare with rental vehicles if one takes into account the entire package. To drive a similar route will take in excess of 18 hours which will mean extra days spent on the road, Fantastic aerial perspective of the country, easy and convenient to book, flexibility. Guests can stay in the different areas for any number of nights they wish to, the flights include a scenic flight from Sossusvlei to Swakopmund on the Full and Southern Circuit and guests do not need to do a separate scenic flight from Swakopmund.

Sossusvlei area:
Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp, Kulala, Little Kulala, Desert Homestead and Le Mirage: No extra flight so no extra cost.
Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge and Sossusvlei Lodge: N$265 per person for 2007.
Wolwedans: N$ 780 pp for 2007.

Damaraland area:
Damaraland Camp: No extra flight so no extra cost
Twyfelfontein Lodge and Mowani Lodge: N$290 for per person for 2007.

Etosha area:
Ongava, Ongava Tented Camp and Little Ongava. No extra flight so no extra cost
Epacha Lodge: N$ 300 per person for 2007.

2008: circuit will be discontinued by Sefofane.
