Selinda Camp is a luxury tented safari camp situated on the banks of the eastern Selinda Spillway - a waterway linking Botswana's Okavango Delta to the Linyanti Swamps. The shaded camp offers splendid views over the Spillway & open floodplain savannah with its characteristic palm islands.
CAMP INFORMATION & FACILITIES:

• Nine double &/or twin luxury tents, One of which is a pilot/guide accommodation of guest quality (capacity 16 +2).

• Custom tents are large (35sqm/382sqft) & erected under cool thatch canopies with spacious verandahs & overhead fans.

• Full en-suite bathrooms with hot/cold showers, & stone baths as a central feature.

• Lighting is low current 220V AC (no hairdryers). Charging facilities for cameras etc. are available at reception. The camp has a limited number of adapters.

• Fully inclusive refreshment facilities including premier estate wines.

• A small curio & gift shop is available (VISA, Mastercard, foreign & local currency).

• The plunge pool is ideal for those warm days.

• No camp is complete without the traditional campfire for evening tales & early morning coffee.

• Laundry is done daily FOC.

• All meals are table'd hôte - early morning light breakfast; late morning brunch; afternoon tea; three course dinner. Special diets are catered for on request.
  

• Game drives are conducted by Our Guides in open 4x4 Toyota Landcruisers. The vehicles have excellent all round visibility allowing for great photo opportunities.
• Game drive times are from sunrise to mid morning, & late afternoon to early evening. The latter returning to camp after dark with spotlight.
• Short walks are offered from camp. These are conducted solely but those guides with a "Full Professional Guide" licence. Arrangements can be made with management.
• Refreshments on game drive include morning tea/coffee & the traditional "sundowner" cocktail in the afternoon.
• Special request activities are available e.g., "sole use" vehicle, full day drive with picinic, etc..

• Elephant are common, with densities during the dry season on a par with those of the Chobe.
• The hippo-killing lions of the Linyanti. Their skill at hunting these huge beasts is legendary.
• There is always a chance for "spots". The open plains are ideal habitat for cheetah, & leopard viewing is rewarding when they are encountered.
• One of Africa's most endangered predators, the Wild Dog, is resident & the Selinda pack frequently dens in close proximity to our camps.
• Other common species include: buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, hyena, a variety of antelope, & the chance to spot a number of nocturnal species.
