Taleni Africa Tourism Holdings announced last week that the company took control of the Swakopmund Boutique Hotel with effect from 1 March 2012.

The hotel is a modern 21 room establishment situated at a prime location in Sam Nujoma Avenue, a mere 500 metres from the beach.

The hotel, completed in late 2009 and on four star standard, boasts stylishly furnished rooms of which three have interleading doors to create cosy family quarters, each decorated with original artworks by Namibian artists. The Zum Kaizer restaurant on the premises is operated by the world famous Brauhaus, serving mouthwatering cuisine in German Namibian style. At the reception desk activities in the area can be booked ranging from scenic flights, balloon excursions, adrenaline pumping quad bike rides in the Namib dunes to a “must do” dolphin cruise in the neighbouring Walvis Bay harbour where one can hand-feed the precocious Cape seals clambering onto the boats.

According to a statement the hotel now offers guests a one stop service from the central reservations office covering the three most visited Namibian tourist destinations from Sossusvlei, Etosha and Swakopmund.
