The lodge is situated on the bank of the Chobe River. The 2,7 ha land on the riverbank is very well situated and has a fantastic view over the river onto the Impallila Island. It is also in the northern corner of Botswana, where four African countries meet. Across the Chobe river is Namibia, to the east across the Zambezi river, is Zambia and to the south is Zimbabwe. The area is called Kazungula and Victoria Falls is 70 km away by road. A few minutes drive to the west brings you to Kasane town and gateway to the Chobe National Park, which is one of the major game viewing sites in Botswana.
The design of the rooms has also derived its influence from the ethnic design style of the people of sub Sahara Africa. The campsites, 15 normal size, and 8 to cater for overlanders for ± 20 people, is constructed luxurious, for privacy and comfort. Every site has its own shower/toilet/washbasin and kitchen wash-up area, electric power point and light. A fire place is available. The large campsites has separate amenities for men and woman and a kitchen area. The accommodation facilities are designed to blend in with the surrounding natural ambience of Chobe with each chalet boasting a spectacular view of the breathtaking Chobe river and Namibia's Impallila Island. From the lodge, one can also enjoy, experience and marvel at the beauty of the African sunrise as it mirrors on the mighty Chobe and Zambezi rivers and thereafter, witness the slow gentle rise of the sun in this timeless continent of Africa.
