Etosha Aoba Lodge

Onguma Etosha Aoba Lodge
AOBA …is a word from the San (Bushman) languages and means: "when the sun goes down“ Great things are happening at Etosha Aoba lodge.... ! We have recently completed major renovations and built some additional units. Now the lodge has eleven well-appointed rooms located along the dry “Omuramba Owambo” riverbed.
The lodge consists of four free standing Heritage Bungalows with air-conditioning, 3 Bush Suites that each have two rooms with an inter-leading bathroom that can accommodate 4 adults. Three new Explorer Bungalows have been added and each boast privacy and seclusion. We have a Honeymoon Bungalow that is extremely private and secluded that has a lovely double hammock in the trees and both an outdoor shower and bath!
The large twin beds have separate mattresses and a large mosquito net. All bungalows have a private terrace with seating, shower / toilet, mini safe, "bush-minibar”, air conditioner and tea / coffee facilities. For the winter season there are heating fans available. There is a swimming pool and a thatched bar, lounge and dining area that overlooks a small active waterhole and free Wi-Fi is available to guests.
On most nights dinner is served under the starts and no meal will be complete if it didn't include a tour of the well stocked wine cellar. Here wines can be tasted and selected to compliment your meal.
At a glance...
Three new secluded thatched Explorer Bungalows include en-suite facilities, air-conditioning with a private patio. The Honeymoon unit shares the same features as the Explorer Bungalows but includes an outdoor shower and bath. The four Heritage Bungalows offer privacy and all the comforts for a pleasant stay. For families we now offer three Bush Suites which include two bed rooms, one with a sleeper couch and the second with two twin beds. An inter-leading bathroom separates the rooms.
An ideal safari-home away from home!
